Dear Arnon: I'm not sure what you mean by a database site, but far and away the most interesting web database I've seen is Firefly, an entertainment database that keeps track of a reader's preferences and matches him up with others with similar tastes. It knows more about your likes and dislikes than you do.

Another great database is MovieLink, a continually updated listing of movies on view in dozens of North American cities. You can browse movies by several criteria and even book tickets in advance over the web.
